Superman

I wanted to be strong like Ricardo, Leonardo, Igor, Mateus, and others, but unfortunately I'm not strong—a taboo. Modern society imposes impossible daily goals. Definitely not everyone is the same, not everyone has special abilities to "kick the world in the face.".

Not everyone wants to be an emperor; others just want to be a human being. But is that still possible? Is it still possible to have a normal life?

I don't want to be emperor, I don't want to judge people as if they were just numbers on a spreadsheet. I don't want to run around like crazy to nowhere and never arrive, eternally stuck on Wednesday. I'm not Superman. I don't have special abilities, I don't have the power to not be bothered by pain.

We are lab rats; life is a machine for destroying dreams, for grinding people down. In other words, we are replaced like cheap products, without spare parts. The illusion they sell, that everyone is happy, depends on the price you're worth. After all, it all comes down to that: price. Everything has a price. Everyone has a price.

I was too young to understand: "Aquarela," that cute little song they sing to children, is actually a big warning about what's going to happen to everyone.

They will clip your wings, put you in cages, silence your world and turn it black and white. And all this in exchange for what? The world is cruel, don't forget that. Don't try to be Superman, because Superman doesn't exist. Don't wear yourself out fighting wars that aren't yours. Take care of yourself, because in the end, no one else will do it for you.
