Ending a project is just as important as starting a new one. Recently, I made the decision to discontinue some older applications that have already fulfilled their objectives, paving the way for a new phase of development focused on cutting-edge technology and decentralized systems.

Below, I detail the changes to my portfolio.

🛑 What is being closed

Labor Calculator

This app was created with a strategic purpose: to serve as a gateway to the project. opportunities.river. Surprisingly, he exceeded expectations, reaching the mark of 10,000 downloads. However, over time, organic traction decreased and maintenance costs became high compared to the drop in revenue.

Because this tool requires constant updates due to changes in Brazilian legislation, and because it uses a technology stack that I now consider outdated, I have decided to discontinue it. It will be replaced by a new project aimed at a completely different audience.

Domino Game

O Domino Game It was a fundamental laboratory in my career. Created when Node.js was still a novelty in the market, it used a star architecture, something that was uncommon at the time.

Although it was a milestone in my learning during college, today I see it as an "internship project" that no longer reflects my level of technical seniority. Therefore, I decided to archive it on GitHub as a historical record of my evolution as a developer, but remove it from the platform.

🚀 What just arrived

Customer Pixelfed Brazil

O Pixelfed Brazil It is the official client for the instance. pixelfed.com.br, focused on decentralized social networks and privacy.

The project is still under development and has some known bugs, but it represents my commitment to more robust, modern software aligned with the future of the decentralized web.
